Hi Patrick and Bob,

If you use the MKII as an external voice keyer (with the microHAM "Control" COM port selected in Win-Test interface configuration, and the microHAM DVK enabled via MKSETUP [Enter]), you have to record all messages using the Router software, and you cannot use SHIFT-Fx to record voice messages while you are running. Type MKSETUP [Enter] in the logging window and select the DVK option if you want to use the MKII this way.

That is wrong! I have used the MKII serveral times as an external Vocie-Keyer in the past and was able to
record the messages just by pressing Shift-Fx.

The other problem i have is that the RX recording audio (to record with Wintest) in the Audio mixer tab is unselected at router startup.I have to manualy select the right input RX RECODING and deselect the REC MIC (Front panel LINE Led is blinking)
Can Wintest select the right input or do i have to use a third party software to try to solve this ?

Also here, that should work! I know that there is sometimes some unpredictable behaviour with the MKII
but basically when using the MKII built in soundcard for the contest recorder the line input should be automatically
selected. When using it together with the internal DVK is should automatically switch over to the microphone
when pressing Shift-Fx to record a message and then back to the line input. Of course when playing back a
message the recorded audio will be muted during that time.

I currently have no rig available to test, but have done that several times in the past. I will try to test again
this weekend when in CQ160 SSB. If everything works as described above, I will make some screenshots
to put in the wiki.
