I have the file for the HQ stations in the folder but the ID doesn't show up
in the log when I enter a familiar HQ like W1AW. Is there a setting I'm
missing?

Hi Bruce

Have you got exchange guessing switched on and pressed  space (or if
exchange guessing so set to automatic thet that isn?t required)?

What happens if you enter GR2HQ? So you see RSGB in the exchange field?

If yes, then the issue is with the W1AW entry, which generally has NOT been
the callsign for ARRL?s HQ station. IIRC they tend to use /5 or some other
suffix.

This year you will have to enter W1AW/4 before it will prefill ARRL.

Instructions for verifying that you have the latest copy of the HQ file are
in the Readme.txt file inside this zip file:
