I agree with both of José and Zoli. The "Sprint Logic Feature" works well
too, so no need to manually switch modes even in the Sprint contests.

However, it sure would be nice to have a way to send the "Other CW messages"
(Alt-C) with a single keystroke, especially in a contest like ARRL
Sweepstakes where the exchange has four different parts. The Alt-C window
has a place for 12 messages, but you can't send any of them with a single
keystroke independent of [F1] - [F7], [Insert], and [+]. You have to press
Alt-C, *then* press [F1] - [F12], and then the window closes.

Since one rarely uses [F8], [F9], [F10], and [F12] once those Check Call,
Check Mult, etc. windows are visible, it would be nice if you could use
DEFINEKEYS to remap these function keys, or other keys like Alt-1 to Alt-0,
to send some of the "Other CW Messages", to ask for fills or send parts of
the exchange for example.

But you can't, because DEFINEKEYS can't be used to redefine [F8] to [Alt-C +
F1]. And it's almost impossible to find 12 unused key combinations that
could be dedicated to sending the 12 Other CW messages.

In sum, please enhance DEFINEKEYS to allow a single key to be redefined as a
"macro", i.e., a sequence of one or more keystrokes, like Alt-C + F1.
