Dear all,

after the Survey has been launched, a number of
answers have been received, and I think it's time
to summarized them up.

So here are the results:
we got 65 answers, and only a few where multiple
choices.

These are your classified answers:
[ 2] I never read it
[ 3] I read it once, when I started using Win-Test
[54] I read it to find information abt a specific need
or question
[ 6] I read it after every update, when a new version
is released
[ 1] What are you talking about ?

While thanking everybody for taking time to answer
I also would like to comment that the vast majority
"uses" the manual, so it worth the effort.

To give you some more figures, to complete the
picture, there are abt 100 subscribers to the wiki
itself, and abt 390 subscribers to this support
reflector.

Looking into the future, there are lots of work
in progress, to enhance and complete the user
documentation.

Simon, M0CLW, is working on a new "home" for the wiki,
on a new server, which should ensure more reliability
and even faster access and response time.

Werner, DL4NER, has just updated the .pdf daily
generation process with the possibility to access
to a history file list. Moreover this process will be
moved to the new server when it will be definitely
available.

Me and Werner, are currently working on a new .pdf
process generation. It will produce an A4 page format,
instead of the actual USA Letter format and (probably
we'll keep both formats), and more important, a
different page sequence, more "User oriented", trying
to follow the actual Main Page structure.

Larry, F6FVY, has started a "huge" software revision
to integrate the on-line documents into the WT
program itself, so a context help can be easily
activated by a mouse click!
Those who have fast internet access will then benefit
of the direct on-line help, while everybody will
be able to access to a static copy of the wiki manual
downloaded on their own computer.

These are great news, and more will follow.
As they use to say, "stay tuned..."

Bob, I2WIJ
