George,

I have just read again the quick start guide for the cw/ptt settings. I reversed CW and PTT pins
check this forward:

"If you choose the serial port (COM) , use the pins listed below :

Serial Port (9 pins) [usual case]

  Pin 7 = PTT (RTS)
  Pin 4 = CW Output (DTR)
  Pin 5 = Ground"
