I have had the same problem off and on for years where the telnet works and then suddenly it does not.
This morning telnet was connected to N2WQ and the Cluster widows showed spots as well as the cluster window.
Then Windows 11 need to do a security up date. It did so, now the telnet does not work.
Windows Defender settings have not changed.
This why recently I changed to DX log.
Naturally that works FB after the update and has not impacted that program.

If I telnet to the sites from the cmd prompt, again I use those port numbers and it works fine. It seems to be something related to the specifics of the WT telnet app and Windows, but I can’t see what.

I have checked the firewall settings and it is an "accepted" app. My other Telnet apps (DXlog and Logger 32) work normally. I have done a clean install of the latest WT, which made no difference. To be certain, I then used the command prompt with the telnet command to connect to one of the cluster sites and that worked OK.
