Hi Laurent, At our club station, we use the following setup: Elecraft K3
+ Micro Keyer II + Win Test + paddle connected to the Micro Keyer via a
6.3mm jack. In Win Test, the Win Key chip is configured to display the
CW speed as follows: *CW 30/24 WPM* Pressing ALT + F9 changes the first
value (speed), which is the speed at which the logging program
transmits. Turning the CW speed potentiometer on the Micro Keyer changes
the second value. The speed displayed in the Micro Keyer matches the
value shown in Win Test. My understanding is that this setup allows you
to adjust the keying speed of the logging program and the speed when
using the paddle separately. That's why it's displayed this way, giving
you the option to control both independently. However, when I use the
paddle, it doesn't key at 24 WPM, but with the same setting used for
keying from the log program. While the two values can be set
separately, the first value always takes effect for both. Do you have
any ideas? I think in the past this behaviour was not so, you could use
different CW Speeds. Best Regards, Michael
