[WT-support] Fwd: Problems after Update to Version 4.50

I'm seeing no difference at all between Win-Test 4.49 and 4.50 on Windows
10, so I don't understand these problem reports.

If Win-Test was configured to connect to a radio on COMx:, but COMx: no
longer exists (because you disconnected the USB cable), all you have to do
is click "Disable this port permanently" (which simply disables COMx: from
the Interface Configuration dialog). Then you can use Win-Test in "no
radio" mode and restart it as many times as you like.

When the radio is reconnected, yes, you will have to re-enable the COM port
in the Interface Configuration Dialog.

Using separate ini files for "with radio" and "with no radio" will work
fine too. First copy wt.ini to wt.NoRadio.ini to get started. Use File |
Explore | /cfg directory to find the folder with the wt.ini file.

Next create two Windows shortcuts, one with

wt.exe (this will use wt.ini)

one with:

wt.exe -i wt.NoRadio.ini

The first time you run the second shortcut, click "Disable this port
permanently".

Problem solved.
