Larry,
Many thanks for that. I wasn't aware about the "sticky settings". As they
say everyday is a school day.
Many thanks your help is appreciated.

We were running as M2 but a major issue happened due to the WI-FI, PC Lock
Outs and Power Loss that we experienced
As running M2 then you set one PC to RUN1 and the other to RUN2 but after
reboots or power loss the log reverts back to RUN1. Basically both stations
are now running as RUN1 It happened a few times with us before it was
noticed. It certainly put panic within the team that they had screwed up the
log.
Question is on Set-Up for M2 can RUN1 and RUN2 be made "set in stone" so if
there is say a power cut and a reboot is required the PC will come up as
what was initially set. Still leave the option to set RUN1 or RUN 2 from the
logging line.
Thanks.

Commands / Station type / Sticky setting
Note : It's a "per position" setting, not a "per log" setting.
