I noticed on 4.17 the standard message for the SS Exchange did not auto fill....had to create it from scratch. Good luck all.

Sorry George, I don't understand. Can you describe this another way? Shift+F(key)?
Once you have the message dialog up, you don't press any function keys or the shift key. You move the cursor to the line you want to change with the mouse.
Do you have Operating | Shift Binds to Secondary Radio selected? Is CapsLock ON?
Sometimes USB or wireless keyboards get into a strange state, and a cold reboot of the computer, or maybe just unplug and plug in the USB keyboard, will reset it.
Note you should also be able to use SHIFT+(function key) (without the dialog) to reprogram an individual message, if you can't get the MSGS dialog to work (MSGS is a text command shortcut for Options | CW | Modify standard messages).73,Bob, N6TV

I am seeing something that I have not seen in the past. I am running WT
4.19.0.

When I go into OPTIONS I CW I MODIFY STANDARD MESSAGES, and enter text for
F1, F2,...INSERT and PLUS, the text I have entered is not appearing the function
keys.

I have to use Shift-F(key) to enter the text I want in the message.

In the past, text I have entered into OPTIONS I CW I MODIFY STANDARD
MESSAGES has always appeared in the F(keys).

Could this be something I am doing wrong, or perhaps a bug in a recent
release of WT?
