I can only confirm what you observed. According to Laurent F6FVY there is no fix for Win 7 and 8 and it is good to know this works with Win 10. Thanks for info Don. 

Perhaps Bob N6TV will give us some work around. For sure the radio's monitor is the best we can find, so far.

I also had this problem. It seems to be associated with Win 7 and Win 8. Win 10 is fine. I could not find a fix for it.

Hi guys, 



I do not have any radios right now where I am and I wanted to test some features for the CQ WW CW bu unfortunatly when I activate SOUND under win-test I do not get the sound of CW but a few weired sounds, I tried in another PC also running win7 and same situation, is there a fix for this because I really need to hear what is TXed by win-test.
