[WT-support] REF contest issue: Dept "2A" saved as "21"

thank you very for your quick answers! After a hint from Laurent I did
another search in the archives and finally found the thread dealing with the
problem. I searched yesterday but didn’t find it
 so it’s always a good idea
to look twice
 that’s what I learned ;o)

 

And to Hardy: yes, I worked 21, too
 so with 2A I may reach the Top 200 in
the results, HI ;o)

It is a bug that already surfaced in some contests and was fixed in the last
nightly build. It has to do with (wrong) expansion of cut numbers. You will
to have correct your CABRILLO file with a text editor manually before
submitting.

Hallo Joerg,

 

you are not the first OM with this problem. Laurent, F6FVY answer yesterday,
that the best way is

to correct the cabrillo file. If you have also dep. 21 in your log, than you
have after that one multiplier more - hi.

I was working the french REF CW contest this weekend. I was happy to work a
TK stn in département 2A. But every time I tried to enter the 2A in the RSTr
field, the program saved it as 21. I was not yet able to find out if it was
a program issue, or possibly a misconfiguration by myself. In the config I
selected the REF contest from the contest list, and worked as „DX“ station.

So if anybody could give me newbie a hint on possible solutions, I would be
very grateful! Thank you very much in advance!
