[WT-support] Win-test/MMTTY/RADIO

Hi Ozer,
WinTest is using Com5 for rig control therefore MMTTY can't use it. >From what I understand, the rigblaster would have to be assigned to a separate comms port (com6?) to allow PTT/FSK.

When using MMTTY alone, MMTTY can snoop rig control to provide PTT, but when using MMTTY in conjunction with WinTest only WinTest can see the rig. I think MMTTY needs to use a separate comms port for PTT/FSK.

CW and SSB work because you do not need WinTest to run in conjunction with MMTTY.

I am having problems myself, but hopefully someone else can confirm if the above is true or not.

  Hi Doug

Rig control port is Com5 for Wintest/Rigblaster/Kenwood.When I install the USB adapteur between PC and Rigblaster plus, this port is activated. And no problem for SSB,
  CW and MMTTY only operation.

I don't understand how will use MMTTY/Wintest together...Which Com port for MMTTY?

  Ozer

    Hi Ozer,

From what I've found out so far, there seems to be 2 requirements:
    1) MMTTY requires FSK and PTT on the same port.
    2) MMTTY requires a separate port from the rig control port that WinTest ties up.

      Hello!

      I have also same problem:

I am using a Rigblaster plus radio interface between Kenwood 870 and laptop.Contest software is Win-test,of course...
There is not any problem when I am using SSB or CW.
Also no problem on MMTTY only.
When I try Win-test and MMTTY together,Win-test works correctly on screen but Rigblaster and Kenwood don't TX.

Any comment or idea for solution?
      Thank you!

      Ozer,TA2RC
