This device uses the band information in the MK2R control protocol to provide 2
BCD band outputs, one for each radio. This can be used to control bandpass
filters, antenna switches, etc. It's about 15% of the cost of a MK2R. Yes, MK2R
does a lot more. However, for those of us who just need 2 BCD band outputs for
SO2R operation, it looks like a very good solution to deal with one of
Win-Test's shortcomings (i.e. Win-Test only provides BCD band outputs on one LPT
port for one radio).
So, just to be clear, will this PIEXX box work with Win-Test to provide BCD band
outputs for SO2R ?
