[WT-support] Stew Perry Contest -- important tips

STEW-PERRY.DTB (STEW DASH PERRY) seems to work at K3LR once I renamed HF.DTB
to HD.DTB.SAV.  At least the location is filled it for those call in this
Database.

 

MASTER.SCP had to be renamed STEW_PERRY.SCP to get Super Partial Check to
work.

Win-Test still has problems in the Stew Perry contest with both the check
partial and exchange database "pre-fill" files.  The problems are documented
in Bug Reports 184

Recommendations:

1.	Download http://www.k5zd.com/scp/MASTER.SCP but save it in your
Win-Test directory as STEW_PERRY.SCP
2.	Download http://www.kkn.net/~n6tv/stew_perry.xdt to your Win-Test
directory
3.	Select Windows | Extra Information (or press [Alt-X])
4.	Right click on the Extra Information window and select "Extra Data
Files"
5.	Press "Add" and select stew_perry.xdt

I generated stew_perry.xdt from
http://download.win-test.com/databases/STEW-PERRY.DTB, which seems
up-to-date, but it doesn't work, even when properly renamed STEW_PERRY.DTB.

 

Some of these problems were reported

two years ago, but still have not been fixed.
