[WT-support] PTT - CW - VOX

Gary,

I was testing the K3 next to my TS850 with a DigiKeyer and an USBII interface. I noted a little difference in the PTT behaviour of these two rigs.

VOX is set to PTT. If I only make CW, only the sidetone can be heard and there is no output (except some spurious) When I apply PTT while sending CW or keydown, the K3 still does not start to send. Stopping the CW signal with PTT on and starting again the K3 starts to send with power. This is different from the TS850 where the PTT works independant of the presence of a CW signal. Applying the signals via the normal connectors or via the RS232 cable makes no difference.

Maybe there were reasons for this design and it is no problem for me, but there is a difference in PTT and CW between these two transceivers.
