[WT-support] "Failed to open COM1!"

Hi all,

I am trying to configure Win-test for CW with the K1EA
CT interface on my COM1. I have Windows 98 and I have
been using this interface for years with TR-Log in
pure  DOS. 

When clicking on the final OK in the Win-test
Interface Configuration window, after filling in all
info such as PIN 7 = PTT (RTS), PIN 4 = CW Output
(DTR) et cetera, I get the error message "Failed to
open COM1!". 

I have glanced through your archives but this
particular problem does not seem to have been dealt
with. 

Any ideas?
