I'm pretty surprised by this "new" notion of xmtr number in _M/S_ 
category, I never heard of, for any contest !

TBH, I really wonder if Steve didn't made a mistake and wasn't rather 
talking abt the _M/2_ category in which the xmtr number is much more 
usual (and supported in WT).

Before going any further, could you please make me a favour and ask for 
a confirmation, please ?
