In addition I do have the full file extensions always turned on.<br />If I do the dir command I only have one file : master.scp<br /><br />But I probably found the source .. I do run a company laptop with Windows Vista Ultimate. It in original it is a US-Version, but a German Pack was installed over it.<br />So if I do use cmd the directory is "program files"; if I look it up in the explerer it is "programme". <div><br />The date that is displayed by Win-Test is just copied from the first two lines of the file (the header), so if you do not change the header, you will not be able to tell that Win-Test is using your updated MASTER.SCP.<br /><br />Did you turn off hidden file extensions as explained in the Wiki, so that you can see the full file name? Maybe you are editing a file named MASTER.SCP.TXT or MASTER.SCP.SCP but you can't tell. Win-Test will ignore files with these names.<br /><br />Is WT.EXE in C:\Programme\Win-Test ?<br /><br />Do the following:<br /><br />Start | Run | cmd.exe<br />CD \Programme\Win-Test<br />DIR MA*<br /><br />Do you see more than one copy of MASTER.SCP.* ? Maybe Win-Test is using DEFAULT.SCP instead of MASTER.SCP.<br /><br />See <a target="_blank" href="http://docs.win-test.com/wiki/Check_Partial_and_Np1_Files">http://docs.win-test.com/wiki/Check_Partial_and_Np1_Files</a> for a complete explanation of the search order, and instructions on how to make MS Windows display full file names. The directories described are for WT4; WT3 uses the Win-Test installation directory.<br /><br />You also have to reload the log to have any changes to MASTER.SCP take affect.
