<div>If neither one is checked, it is not possible to use the secondary radio window as it was intended to be used, so the Run / S&P status of the secondary radio won't matter. In effect, you are always using the primary radio, and selecting either Radio 1 or Radio 2 as your primary radio.</div>
<div><br></div><div>Do you see the Secondary Radio window turn Yellow? If not, the Secondary Radio window is not being used, and that is the problem.</div><div><br></div><div>This is how it is supposed to work:</div><div>

<li>Press F1. CQ message is sent on the primary radio</li></ol><div>Remember, Radio 1 and Radio 2 don't matter. Only the Primary and Secondary radio matter. You can have Radio 1 be Primary or Secondary. You can have Radio 2 be Primary or Secondary. When you press [ * ], Radio1 and Radio2 swap positions between the main logging window (always Primary) and the Secondary radio window, but the RUN / S&P status of the Primary and Secondary radio windows always stays the same until you explicitly change it via Ctrl-Tab or clicking on the little circles.</div>
<div><br></div><div>If you always want Radio 1 to be in RUN mode and you always want Radio 2 to be in S&P mode, use CapsLock only, and never press the star key. Keep Radio 1 in the Primary window and Radio 2 in the secondary radio window, at all times.</div>
<div><br></div><div>In sum, there seems to be no bug here, just a misunderstanding about what "Primary", "Secondary", "Radio 1" and "Radio 2" mean.</div><div><br></div><div>Things would be a lot easier to understand if there were simply a "Left radio" and a "Right radio", and two identical side-by-side logging windows dedicated to each, but that design was rejected or never considered, for reasons unknown.</div>

<div>What does "act differently" mean? Send the Run messages on the Run
radio and the S&P messages on the Secondary Radio? If both are
sending the <i>same</i> CW messages, no matter what mode you choose with
Ctrl-Tab, it probably means that the "Ignored S&P messages" option is
checked in the Options tab, under Modify Standard CW Messages.</div>

<div>If you're talking about phone, there is only one set of messages.
It's not the same as CW, where you have on set of messages for RUN mode
and another for S&P. So only ESM mode behaves differently when you
change from RUN to S&P and you're operating on phone.</div>

the version of Win-Test that you are running, what SO2R settings you have set,
which SO2R Advanced Scenario you selected, what keys you are pressing, and
