progress! However, the PC speaker has stopped working (not a
major problem) and the messages programmed into Winkey no longer work when I
press the buttons (however the paddle plugged into Winkey is now working).

<DIV>When you use an external WinKey rather than the Win-Test internal CW
keyer, all CW timing is handled by the external hardware, so the "beeps" go
away. You can enable the WinKey's own "monitor" speaker using the WinKey
software if you want to hear beeps every time you or the computer sends any
CW.</DIV>
