No problems running WT4 on Windows 7/32 bit. The biggest hassle is that you may not be able to use the Windows sound card any more as a voice keyer (with your mic. plugged into the PC rather than into the radio). Apparently Microsoft eliminated the "monitor" feature that used to be in Windows, so that whatever you said into the microphone could get echoed back out on the speaker output. Has anyone figured out how to make it work on Windows 7?

If you have don't plan on using the internal Win-Test DVK with your computer's sound card, you should be OK. You might also be OK if you pre-record all messages, then move the mic. to the radio. But you won't be able to press Shift-F1 in the middle of a contest to quickly change DVK messages.

The other main issue seems to be that with some "modern" AntiVirus / Firewall software, it seems to takes a while for the "Auto Protect" feature of these programs to figure out that Win-Test is safe. I've seen Win-Test start up really slowly after I install a new version, then after you do that a few times, it runs quite normally (until you upgrade to the next release, when the "learning" process seems to start all over again).
