problems. Often when opening the log file WT closes after error message
(reported by several people) and in last contests we have had network getting
lost (one computer dropping out) displaying Packet Stream Error or sth like
that and message about Unique network QSO-identifier or sth.. and some other
error messages and I have heard other stations having the same problems. I hope
that will get somehow fixed in the next versions…<o:p></o:p></span></p>

always had network problems, in both connecting the network initially, and in
keeping it connected.  The network would drop for some reason every now
and then.  Win-test had a good reputation for having a stable network, and
that is why we switched.  It is true; we never had a problem connecting
the network with WT, nor keeping it up.  <o:p></o:p></span></p>

color:black'>I've been asked to give a presentation about Win-Test at the next
meeting of the Northern California Contest Club on Monday.  Other popular
contest software such as Writelog and N1MM will also be presented.  I
haven't used these other two programs much, so I am not sure of their
capabilities and limitations.  I mainly switched to Win-Test because I was
used to CT, it was an easy conversion, and Win-Test has a great reputation
amongst top contesters, especially in Europe.<br>

If anyone on this list has used Writelog or N1MM, but then settled on Win-Test,
what do you see as the main advantages of Win-test over these other two
programs?  A feature-by-feature comparison table isn't that helpful;
please describe the most important differences.<br>
