Thanks Dave,<br><br>Actually I have an interface box that drives CW, DVK and BAND switching through the parallel port.<br>Since the computer (desktop) has just one serial port already connected to the CAT network, I was trying to complete my box with RTTY keying without having to setup a dedicated USB/COM adapter.
<br><br>As far as I see on the web, a lot of guys have it running through LPT port. It should be easy but it's giving me a lot of troubles since also on other computers and OS the LPT option is not avaiable.<br><br>Will let our community know if I find anything relevant about this issue, but comments are welcome anytime.

<p><font face="Helvetica" size="2"><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Helvetica;">My guess is that you have a Laptop complicating the
addition of a LPT
Port. There are
PCMCIA Cards that implement a true LPT
Port such as this:</span></font></p>
<p><font face="Helvetica" size="2"><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Helvetica;"><a href="http://www.quatech.com/catalog/parallel_pcmcia.php" target="_blank" onclick="return top.js.OpenExtLink(window,event,this)">
http://www.quatech.com/catalog/parallel_pcmcia.php</a><font color="navy"><span style="color: navy;"> (</span></font><font color="black"><span style="color: black;">and there are others.)</span></font></span></font></p>
<p><font face="Helvetica" size="2"><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Helvetica;">These aren't inexpensive, but it might be the best
long-term solution.</span></font></p>

<p><font face="Times New Roman" size="3"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Hi all,<br>
<br>
I'm trying to key my FT1000MP through the RTTY rear connector and a PTT/CW LPT
interface.<br>
<br>
To allow MTTY to key through LPT, I downloaded EXTFSK as suggested.<br>
<br>
Actually, I must say I followed the suggestions given by DK2PH on this
reflector in February: <br>
<br>
<a href="http://www.f5mzn.org/pipermail/support/2007-February/073149.html" target="_blank" onclick="return top.js.OpenExtLink(window,event,this)">http://www.f5mzn.org/pipermail/support/2007-February/073149.html</a><br>
<br>
but I have no LPT port listed in the EXTFSK port list, just COM ports. <br>
<br>
The DLPORT I/O package is installed, and I can use the LPT port through
Win-Test just fine, and Win-Test is not configured to use the LPT port.<br>
<br>
Any help appreciated!<br>
