FT-2000. For most stuff, the interface is fine but there are a few anomalies
which I have noticed that need putting right.

However, the issue you have raised is the same for
me on my Elecraft K2 and on the Ft-2000, so I don't think is it necessarily an
FT-2000 interfacing problem.

The Ft-2000 issue I have is:

Pressing RX on VFO-B (Dual receive mode) puts the
focus to VFO-B on the Band Map. With the FT-1000, the focus remains on Band Map
VFO-A.

If VFOb happens to be on a different band, when I
press the Rx button (Dual receive) my Quadra amplifier band is also switched
(via LPT1). So the Tx on my radio is on (say) 20m but Win-Test switches it to
another band. Obviously something wrong there.

size=3>==============
I can't find this mentioned so I hope somebody can
help.

Using my FT2000, rig control works and shows both VFO's, the
bandmap
tracks frequency whilst tuning. However, if I right click a
station on
the bandmap, the "Pass frequency to Sub VFO" option is always
greyed out.
Double clicking any station on the band map does QSY VFO A to
that freq
and mode.

I have tried using several contest templates and
multi - multi etc to no
avail. As far as I can tell, rig control is
working fine in all aspects.
Radio is connected to pc via a real serial port.
All firmware upgrades
have been completed on FT2K. I can only assume I am
missing an option
somewhere in Win-Test that will enable this
feature.

Thanks in
anticipation.

Gordon
MM0GPZ
